Dr. Kathleen Faulkenberg is the Associate Director of Cardiovascular, Transplant, and Transitions of Care Clinical Pharmacy Services at University of Kentucky Healthcare. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky and completed post-graduate pharmacy residency training in cardiology at University of Kentucky Healthcare. Dr. Faulkenberg is passionate about creating progressive pharmacist-driven practices through patient-centric services. She enjoys mentoring the next generation of clinical pharmacists and currently serves as an educator for pharmacy students and residents. Dr. Faulkenberg is an active member of the Heart Failure Society of America, where she has served on several committees over the course of 10 years.  Her clinical and research interests include advanced heart failure in special/underserved populations, cardio-renal syndrome, and cardiac transplant.
