2013 Heart Failure Review Course
This 2.5 day comprehensive review course expands upon the HFSA Board Review Course in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Self-Evaluation Module in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
HFSA has developed an ABIM-approved self-evaluation module in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. It can be used to satisfy MOC requirements in all ABIM specialty certifications, including:
- Internal Medicine
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Interventional Cardiology
- Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
Educational Materials
Educational Modules on Heart Failure
HFSA has developed and published a series of modules designed to help patients,
their families, and individuals at risk learn more about heart
failure in easy to understand language. The modules cover a variety of topics including
low sodium diet, medicines to treat heart failure, self care, exercise and activity,
heart rhythm problems etc. These modules are not intended to replace regular medical care.
Heart Failure Awareness Event Materials
The HFSA has produced a turn-key kit and
supplemental materials to
assist professionals in planning local events related to heart failure either during National Heart Failure
Awareness week (February 12-18, 2012) or at other times during the year.
