Poster Guidelines
17th Annual Scientific Meeting
September 22-25, 2013

Location
Posters will be set up in the Exhibit Hall within the Peabody Hotel.
Posters may be set up between 7:30-9:30 AM on the day of presentation.
Please follow entrance and exit instructions from security personnel,
since exhibits do not open until 9:30 AM. Posters will be on display
from 9:30 AM -6:00 PM on the day of presentation.
Poster presenters are expected to be at their posters from 12:30-1:30 PM
on the day of presentation. (Note new times from previous years.) Posters must
be removed by 6:00 PM. Posters not removed will be discarded. The HFSA assumes
no responsibility for damaged or lost artwork.
Poster Set Up and Display
An abstract number on the poster board will identify the location of your poster.
Posters will be displayed on horizontal stands. The poster board measures 8 ft
wide x 4 ft high (243 x 121 cm). Information posted cannot exceed the width and
height of the board. Any oversized materials will be trimmed to fit the board.
Push pins will be provided.
Audiovisual equipment (i.e., computers, video/audio tapes, slides, etc.) is prohibited at the poster displays.
Poster Preparation/Printing - Leave The Hassle Behind!!!
Avoid the hassle of having to bring your poster with you. Arrange to have it produced,
shipped, and placed on your poster board for you.

Poster Presenter Disclosure Information
Poster presenters and co-authors must disclose relationships with companies that have heart failure
products or services. Disclosure information for poster presenters and
co-authors will be distributed to all attendees as part of the Author/Presenter
Disclosure Booklet.
Registration
All poster presenters must register for the meeting. Reduced registration rates
are available until July 30, 2013. Click here to register
