One-Day Conference for Cardiology Fellows
2012 Date To Be Determined
The HFSA is Looking for the Next Generation of Heart Failure Specialists
The Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) has made a commitment to dedicate time and resources to support
cardiology fellows interested in heart failure as a career path. The rapid development of drugs and devices for
heart failure and the emerging discoveries in molecular and genomic medicine have created an exciting clinical
and investigational environment that has established heart failure as one of the leading sub-disciplines of cardiology.
In January 2011 the HFSA held a one-day conference at the
Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, Aventura, Florida designed to
introduce cardiology fellows in training to the vast array of career options in heart failure.
This is an opportunity to interact with national and international thought leaders in heart failure.
State-of-the-art updates, small group discussions, and informal one-on-one time will be provided to enlighten
fellows on various career pathways in clinical investigation, basic science, population biology and clinical practice in heart failure.
